How we compared them
The NomadsToolsLab team read both makers' product pages, both recall pages, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission notices and the FAA, ICAO and UK CAA pages on power banks on 9 October 2026, and checked both Amazon pages with a US address. What surprised us: Anker's own product page prints the USB-C output two ways, 30 W at the top and 12 W total in the specs tab, and Baseus says up to 1.8 charges for an iPhone 16 Pro on its page but 1.3 on its Amazon listing.
Testers at MobileReviewsEh tested both power banks. In the description of his Anker video he says it stood out among more than 120 Qi2 packs for cool temperatures and voltage stability, and in the description of his Baseus video he says the pack dropped to 12 W halfway through despite a 27 W rating. TechRadar's review headline calls the Anker the fastest MagSafe power bank its reviewer has tested. Amazon's own summaries of the reviews mention heat and some units that stopped working for both, so neither is flawless. Every number in the table comes from the makers' own pages.

Baseus vs Anker power bank at a glance
| Power bank | Weight | Size | Wireless | USB-C | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Anker MagGo 10K Slim (A1664) | Weight: 215.9 g | Size: 4.09 x 2.78 x 0.58 in | Wireless: 15 W Qi2 | USB-C: 30 W max at the top of the page; 12 W total in the specs tab | Warranty: 24 months, per the Amazon listing |
| Baseus PicoGo Ultra-Slim Qi2 10,000 mAh | Weight: About 175 g | Size: 4.0 x 2.67 x 0.58 in | Wireless: 15 W Qi2 | USB-C: 27 W | Warranty: 2 years |
Both are 10,000 mAh. Anker says that 35% to 45% of the capacity is lost in conversion, so the pack gives about 5,500 to 6,500 mAh to your phone. Figures are the makers' own, read on 9 October 2026 on the Anker page and the Baseus page. The Amazon listing for the Baseus gives the model number PPKPC-1027G and Baseus's matching page gives the SKU E0027200.

Flying with a power bank

The FAA says spare lithium batteries and power banks must travel in carry-on baggage only, with terminals protected from short circuit, and that lithium ion batteries are limited to 100 Wh each. It adds that many airlines have stricter limits. Its page was last updated on 11 August 2026.
The International Civil Aviation Organization says that from 27 March 2026 power banks are limited to two per passenger and passengers are prohibited from recharging them during flights, in its announcement. The UK Civil Aviation Authority lists the same two-per-person limit, says a power bank must not be recharged on board and should not be used to charge other devices on board, and gives 100 Wh as the limit without airline approval.
Neither pack lists watt-hours on the pages we read. At the common 3.7 V cell rating, 10,000 mAh is about 37 Wh, which is our own arithmetic, so read the Wh printed on the unit you buy and check your airline. Which one to pick

For a phone that lives on MagSafe: either works, and both are made for iPhones. If heat worries you, the Anker has the stronger tester record, with MobileReviewsEh singling it out and TechRadar calling it the fastest MagSafe pack its reviewer tested. If every gram counts in a carry-on: the Baseus lists about 175 g against 215.9 g, a difference of about 41 g. If you have a laptop: neither is the answer, and our Anker vs UGREEN guide covers the 25,000 mAh class.

FAQ
Is Baseus or Anker better for a slim magnetic power bank?
On paper they match on capacity and 15 W Qi2 wireless. The Baseus lists about 175 g against 215.9 g for the Anker, and a tester with more than 120 Qi2 packs singled out the Anker for cool running. MobileReviewsEh measured the Baseus dropping to 12 W halfway through.
Has Baseus had power bank recalls?
Yes. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of Baseus magnetic wireless power banks, models PPCXM06 and PPCXW06, on 27 June 2024, and a recall of the 65W 30000mAh charger, model BS-30KP365, on 1 May 2025. The Baseus PicoGo in this guide is a different model.
Has Anker had power bank recalls?
Yes. The CPSC announced a recall of the Anker PowerCore 10000, model A1263, on 12 June 2025 and of five Anker power bank models (A1647, A1652, A1257, A1681, A1689) on 18 September 2025. The MagGo 10K Slim, model A1664, is not on Anker's recall page.

In the cabin only. The FAA says spare lithium batteries and power banks must be in carry-on baggage and limited to 100 Wh each, and ICAO says passengers are limited to two power banks and may not recharge them during flights. Check your airline, because many have stricter rules.
How many Wh is a 10,000 mAh power bank?
About 37 Wh at the common 3.7 V cell rating. That is our own arithmetic, since neither maker prints watt-hours on the pages we read, so check the label on the unit.
Do these power banks work with Android phones?
They are made for iPhones with MagSafe. Anker says it does not recommend the MagGo for Android phones because the fit can be off and charging slower.
