Most portable standing desks are not actually portable. A rolling cart with a 30 inch base does not fit in a Grab, does not fit under a Bali rental house table, and does not survive being checked as luggage between countries. What could be better

The Flexispot’s single-handle spring assist takes some getting used to and needs roughly 13 lbs of lift force. VIVO’s K Series is the cheaper option and widely available, but it does not fold flat like the Flexispot, so it is better suited to nomads who set up a semi-permanent base for a few months than to anyone repacking a bag every week. Neither converter includes a keyboard tray as standard on the base model, that is usually a separate purchase.
